Gullfoss waterfall

Gullfoss waterfall tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 meter (105 ft.) deep. The waterfall derives from the river Hvítá and offers exceptional scenery and views showing the true beauty of Iceland's nature.

Geysir geothermal area

The Geysir geothermal area is home to the geyser Strokkur which shoots a column of water up to 30 meters (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.

Fridheimar Greenhouse

Friðheimar grow delicious tomatoes year round using artificial lighting in their greenhouses. Visitors are welcomed to see these greenhouses first hand and even enjoy a taste of the crops. Fridheimar also breed icelandic horses and offer you a chance to see and pet these magnificent creatures.

Kerid volcanic crater

Kerið is a volcanic crater lake located in the Grímsnes area in the southern part of Iceland. Kerið crater is approximately 3,000 years old which is roughly half the age of most volcanic calderas in Iceland.
